This April 28! Come Watch GW Students Reinvent Home Movies

You are wondering: how would I tell my family story? Come this Monday, April 28, to watch what true family stories GW students chose to tell and how. This is what film curator Mark Yoffe wrote about one of the top films my students created this spring semester and will be screened in the festival:

"Since the video is about music and musicians and role of music in life it is very musical. Sound plays a crucial role here though it is not original music. The focus of this video stands out. It seems to focus on the father and an interview with him (as many videos do), but actually it is about more than that. It is about choosing the path of the musician and the role of music. This narrow and specific focus makes this video strongly emotional and special. Different from others. This is also one of the most artistic videos this semester. "
